The poster is an atmospheric glimpse at the character depicted. It's simple, but effective.

Review:

We don't get a lot out of this trailer other than the expected country music biopic stylistic flourishes. What is most interesting in the trailer is Jeff Bridges who might just give the audience someone to cheer.

Oscar Prospects:

Emerging at the last minute to wreak havoc in the Oscar race, Crazy Heart is already poised to try and lasso Jeff Bridges an Oscar nomination. If the film is any good, others like Maggie Gyllenhaal, Robert Duvall or Colin Farrell may be pulled along with the film.
