A documentary following a man who decided to carry a cross around the world over the last 40 years in symbolic support of world peace and equality.
Smiling while bearing a cross. It's got controversy written all over it...if it were actually a film that would be shown extensively in the Bible belt, which isn't very likely. Of course, it doesn't say that the film is about Christ or his Passion, so it might not cause too many problems after all.
A hodge podge of still and sometimes moving images spanning four decades. And there's so little information about the film's actual subject that you might get the impression that the trailer is exactly how the entire film will look, which I find doubtful.
If the documentary is as disinteresting as the trailer, then the Academy will probably not be too concerned about recognizing it.
I have not seen this film.
