Synopsis:

Another in the long series of X Movie films, this one lampooning the musical and dance pic genres.

Review:

Fewer characters suggests the film stretched itself just trying to find enough films that enough audiences had seen to make for a believable and rewarding parody. The poster entirely embodies that concept which may produce feelings of disappointment in the traditional viewer base.

• Trailer: C-

Review:

The Wayans, after having collapsed the Scary Movie series have now moved on to the dance film genre, going back as far as 80s pop culture and looking at films like Footloose and Fame. While this parody may be very appropriate following the stream of step and stomp movies that have come out in recent years, the trailer isn't very humorous and suggests a rather mirthless, toothless attempt at parodic humor.
