Preview: Eden Log (2009)

Synopsis:

A film about a man suffering from amnesia who awakes caked in mud and deep beneath the earth who must make his way to the surface while being followed by a mysterious creature.

Review:

It's a very fancy and beautiful design. The colors are quite rich despite being relatively bland. However, the poster says very little about the film's subject, making it a tangential tie-in at best.

• Trailer: B

Review:

A foreign language zombie-like movie. It certainly seems like it would be more interesting than the trailer suggests. It will appeal to a very small niche: horror enthusiasts who don't mind reading subtitles.

Oscar Prospects:

Even if it were submitted as a Foreign Language Film candidate, there's little likelhood of it figuring in the race.
