A New Yorker sets out across the country and the world to explore the spirituality of Yoga and its origins hoping to find some greater purpose.
A rather tepid and uninspired poster with virtually no spirituality or intrigue, hiding the purpose of the film, which only acts as a disservice to interested parties, though they aren't likely to walk into the theater based on this poster alone.
A thoughtful exploration of how spirituality and the seeking of a calm, inner self has become a cause-célèbre for many in the country while many others question Yoga's place in that greater psyche. Whether it actually resolves any of these questions or sets the skeptic's mind at ease, at least it could be an interesting journey.
This could be a short-list finalist for the Documentary Feature Oscar, but it doesn't seem vital enough to be considered an Oscar nominee, but then again, neither did Man on Wire by the looks of its trailer.
I have not seen this film.
