Preview: Extract (2009)

Synopsis:

A plant manager has a life that is slowly falling apart around him when he meets a beautiful young temp who leads him on a new pursuit.

Review:

The gimmick of this poster is easy for anyone to see, but makes more sense when you watch the trailer, making it a difficult poster to use to sell the film when not displayed in conjunction.

The second poster almost makes the first look exceptional. So boring and traditional that it's painful to look at.

• Trailer: C+

Review:

Mike Judge is far from my favorite comic stylist. His Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill are novelties that this film looks like an attempt to duplicate, meaning it should have a strong opening, but do very little business elsewhere.
