A group of Holocaust survivors celebrate their lives each year in a Catskills resort.
It's a nice image, but hardly one that will entice an audience. And without knowing what the film is about, this design will hold little appeal to most.
While most Holocaust stories end in tragedies, or at least culminate in something bittersweet, this documentary celebrates life after the Holocaust and lets it act as a backdrop instead of a driving force. It may well be a refreshing take on the history.
It failed to earn a spot at the Oscar dinner table.
I have not seen this film.
