A group of genetically-enhanced rodents and other creatures, are super agents for the government set to take on dangerous foes in this computer-animatd feature.
We really shouldn't have expected much more than a "pleas buy me" approach to poster design with this film. The entire point of kids films is marketing and merchandise sales. The poster isn't very thrilling, but it meets the regular requirements of such affairs.
The fact that Disney has its name plastered all over the trailer, I have my doubts about the quality of the picture. The voice over work doesn't seem that impressive and there isn't much humor in the trailer, but there's merchandise potential all over the place, which is directly from the old Disney playbook, not the new Pixar one.
They shifted from gimmicky trailer to painfully traditional trailer. Neither is much of an improvement in terms of quality. It still looks like the same lame, poorly-ploted kids partly-animatd film. The only thing that gives it the '+' grade I've assigned is the final scene with the mice.
Although it will be submitted for the Animated Feature Oscar, I don't see this succeeding at earning a nomination, though I felt the same way about Bolt and it even managed a nod.
I have not seen this film.I have not seen this film.
