Review:

Although the film is not even remotely set in the 1960s, this poster conjures up images of that era with the rounded edges and the bright colors and even though the scene at the top of the image is set in a modern period, it looks very much of that older period. Whether that has anything to do with the film's plot or not remains to be seen.

Review:

Zooey Deschanel seems to be showing up in quite a few films lately and that's actually a nice surprise. She's an interesting actress even if her projects aren't all that great and in this film, her charms seem to be put well to work and making this a most interesting concept. Even John Goodman, who hasn't done a lot latey, seems to be back to his comic roots.

Oscar Prospects:

Unless this somehow rips its way through the indie circuit and ends up on some critics lists, I doubt it will be worth considering, but both John Goodman and Jane Alexander could be looking at a notice from the Independent Spirit Awards.
