A woman has a psychotic break after hitting something on a dirt road and she immediately begins to think it was a young boy found in a ditch.
As the trailer reminds me of films from the 1960s & 1970s, so too does this poster remind me of that period. It has very little to say about the film and doesn't really have anything but a nostalgia factor.
The trailer does a fairly good job of disorienting the audience, jumping in snatches and snippets, much like the heroine of the narrative. While I admire the attempt, it's hard to justify recommending the movie solely based on the trailer.
Some of the greatest cinematic achievements are ignored by the Academy for being a little too "out there". The only chance this film has is by finding a strong audience within the Foreign Language Film branch that can champion it to a nomination. A win is very unlikely.
I have not seen this film.
