Two old friends decide to make a porno together.
The implications are in the trailer, but the poster actually pushes the idea further that these two, while straight very well may be making a gay pornographic art film. The pink wallpaper in the background is a bit too stereotypical and the not-quite-disgusted looks they give to one another along with their shirtlessness just make for an awkward advertisement.
An indie film complete with festival plaudits and plenty of street cred, the film itself doesn't look terribly good despite being a pseudo-relationship drama exploring the lives of the central character and his wife as she deals with their decision to make the pornart film.
I can't imagine the Academy caring beyond a "oh, look, another indie" thought.
I have not seen this film.
