A father gets into trouble when his ability to read things into being leads him and his family to get trapped in a novel of fairytales and classic children's literature where they must find their way back out of the book.
Fitting perfectly within the theme of the film, this poster is colorful, attractive and has the right blend of elements to avoid being cluttered. This will definitely bring in the target demo and possibly a few adults as well.
Although I've been disappointed by fantasy films before, this one looks most interesting if only for the blending of story elements from several children's classics.
Adding a few more scenes to the trailer, the second trailer is almost identical to the first. It relies on some rather solid visual effects to attract an audience. We can only hope the film, releasing so early in the year, is as good as the trailer. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't, though.
So early a release that it will likely be forgotten at the end of the year, but it's technicals look strong, but not strong enough to be remembered for twelve months.
I have not seen this film.
