A mother is forced to fend for her daughters, while choosing to maintain a positive attitude for their emotional wellbeing, after her husband is arrested and accused of being a Communist.
The central images is a strong one, representative of the film's central character and her relationship with her daughters. However, the background and the five images at the bottom of the poster are more distracting than helpful.
This simple trailer doesn't go out of its way to pound its sorrowful message on the audience, instead relying on uncomplicated gentle scenes of emotional desperation to sell its concept.
I could certainly see some recognition at the Oscars if the film is submitted officially.
I have not seen this film.
