Preview: Killshot (2009)

Synopsis:

An aging hit man (Mickey Rourke) attempts to track down a woman and her husband in witness protection and attempts to stop her from testifying.

Review:

The poster certainly fits the style of the film, as it looks much like an action thriller poster. The colors are good, though the poses are a bit unchallenging.

• Trailer: C+

Review:

Mickey Rourke seems to be a bigger name now than he has been for the last few years and the more movies he stars in, the bigger he'll get. However, his and Diane Lane's box office drawing power is minimal at best and the very conventional dialogue displayed in the trailer and the overall lack of supremely exciting action may doom this trailer early.

Oscar Prospects:

Too early to be a contender even if it is of an above average quality.
