A young writer is sent on a task to monitor the working environment of Leo Tolstoy but ends up caught between him and his warring wife.
The font selection, color and layout is all striking, but the poster is devoid of notable content.
Although the feel of the trailer is that of the typical costume drama, the performances of Helen Mirren, Christopher Plummer and James McAvoy all look incredibly entertaining.
There's already talk of Helen Mirren earning a nod for her work here, but Christopher Plummer could also earn his first nomination for the film and, if the reception for the film is strong, it could earn several other nods including Best Picture, Adapted Screenplay and perhaps even a nod for McAvoy.
I have not seen this film.
