Several stories are interwoven in a slum where these people are struggling to survive and hope to one day escape their deplorable neighborhood.
Sadly, this poster is a bit overused in terms of image layout and design. However, the colors are strong and original, and the drug-smoke acting as a backdrop for the images is a nice touch symbolizing these people being trapped within the titular "Cracktown".
Although it seems more akin to the Crash/Babel ensemble pieces, the subject is far more dark and gritty than those Oscar contenders. And while there are no huge named stars in the cast, they are quiet, capable group and the trailer suggests he could either be really intense and involving or it could just be trite and uninteresting.
Even if the film turns out to be exceptionally good, I wouldn't characterize the film as having much of a shot.
I have not seen this film.
