A Facebook project to create a computer-animated short film results in the story of two musical instruments who fall in love despite their musical differences.
Short films don't often get posters, so it's good enough for that purpose. It features the characters of the film and that should be sufficient as advertising, though rather mediocre in the end.
I'm not sure that a short film warrants an entire trailer of its own. Much of the plot is given away in big budget films, so it's no surprise that most of the film's plot and a few of the scenes are revealed here. But, I'm sure it will be charming.
I don't know if it will qualify with a theatrical release. Festival circuits are generally where the Academy nominees come from and since the rules require it to win an award from an approved festival, I don't think it will be eligible.
I have not seen this film.
