Review:

Conceptually, it's an interesting tale and with Peter Jackson behind the camera, you can feel safe it will be handled well. So, I'm not at all surprised that the beautiful imagery and potential displayed in the trailer are almost precisely what I expected.

Oscar Prospects:

If the movie turns out well, and I am fairly certain it will, look for several Oscar nominations, including nods for Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay, Actress (Saoirse Ronan), Original Score, Editing, Cinematography, Art Direction and possibly even Sound, Sound Effects and Visual Effects and maybe even a nod for Mark Wahlberg or Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon or Stanley Tucci.
