Another comedy from Tyler Perry starring his drag alter-ego Madea and her stint in the penitentiary.
The movie is supposed to be a comedy, right? Then why is this poster virtually humorless? Sure it's a detailed and intriguing design, something Tyler Perry has been able to achieve quite a lot recently (such as last year's poster for The Family That Preys, but I have to grade this one down slightly for having seemingly nothing to do with the film's genre.
What a thorough waste of a minute. There's nothing challenging, interesting or inviting about this film from this trailer alone.
If Tyler Perry's serious films can't make a dent at the Oscars, his comedies aren't going to.
I have not seen this film.
