Although certainly not unique, there are very few posters that have attempted this design style, this poster's designer understands color, form and positioning. It's a bit off kilter, but balanced. It's creative, yet unobtrusive.
The trailer works perfectly for an audience of cinephiles, but other auds will likely wonder what the point is and simply avoid the film for lack of obvious drama. It looks like it might be an interesting examination of relationships, but it won't appeal to everyone.
