The color is horrendously wrong. Nothing in the trailer is that vibrant, which makes the poster feel completely at odds with the film. The actors, however, are posed well giving the audience the idea that this is an unusual love story.
The overuse of sound effects, which may or may not carry over into the actual film, makes this seem like more of a stunt than an actual film. And while the critics' notices mentioned in the trailer might bring in a new audience, there doesn't appear to be too much different from other indie love stories such as Once. That could be good or bad.
Oscar nominations were already out at the time of this film's release.
I have not seen this film.
