A Greek tour guide meets the love of her life on her guaided tour of Greece where she learns to come out of her shell and live life.
I can see the Greek syle of the framing archway, but the rather cliched cast positioning just seems silly.
Nia Vardalos is back again, this time she's back on her native soil of Greece where she plies her limitd comic talent on another romantic comedy wherein she meets the love of her life and must review her life and make changes in order to win him and her sanity. The trailer is very reminiscent of My Big Fat Greek Wedding and since her follow up film, Connie and Carla, was an absolute dud, it appears she's returning to her roots in hopes of resurrecting her stalled career.
Vardalos didn't write this screenplay and being very been-there-done-that, it's unlikely to play well with the Academy.
I have not seen this film.
