A beautiful woman and mother of two leaves her husband and heads across the country hoping to find a new husband.
At first, I thought this was a rather lazy idea, a vain attempt at creating comedy in a poster without succeeding. But as I thought about it more clearly, it began to make sense and really is a rather interesting poster. The mother of two finds her life to be in shambles, going on the road to find a new man to make her husband. The poster, as she holds up a frame to capture the picture-perfect family around herself and her two sons while the rest of the image outside the picture frame is what she considers imperfect. It easily and succinctly captures the entire concept of the film.
The most annoying thing about this trailer is Renee Zellweger's voice. Normally, it's not as distracting, but her pert accent is grating and unnecessary. The look of the film is solid and it's nice to see a number of the suitors she meets along the way, but there isn't much to suggest this film will be that great.
It could be in the hunt for Art Direction or Costume Design nominations, but even comedies have a hard time cracking that tough field.
I have not seen this film.
