A sequel to Twilight finds Edward leaving Bella hoping to protect her from his blood-thirsty vampire pals only to leave her defenseless and at the hands of a werewolf who wants to be her protection.
Although not as sensual as adults might call it, but from a tween perspective, this is a rather sultry poster from the colors to the positions and the emotional attitudes on the actors' faces. It's not a high work of art, but it's effective and attractive.
The second and third poster seem to be designed to compete with one another. The vampires on one and the werewolves the other. It's the same visual style of the first poster, so there isn't much different, but the third poster just feels too vacant compared to the others.
The best thing I can say is that at least the visual effects work looks solid. The premise doesn't seem more than something from a teenage girl's romance novel, but the production values at least act as a distraction.
A mix of actor-interview, scene-recap, this new trailer is only minimally interesting. It speaks only to fans of twilight, ignoring any others who might have been interested at first.
No consideration for the first film. No consideration for the second or any future installments.
I have not seen this film.
