Review:

This documentary of Liverpool, appearing to use mostly archive footage shot in the city during its history, doesn't have a lot of vocal panache. What the filmmaker wants to accomplish is slightly muddy and while it's interesting to look at, the substance is not evident.

Oscar Prospects:

Like My Winnpieg, which turned out to be a documentary (who knew looking at the trailer last year?), this film will likely be shut out of all but the most esoteric critics' groups.
