A young boy meets a young girl while working at his parents' motel and embarks on a day-long exploration of joy, fear and first love.
To borrow an expression from Steel Magnolias, this poster looks like a bottle of Pepto Bismol blew up on it. The color is harsh and the image is overly simplified, failing to yield any significant meaning.
It may have some resonance to many audiences, but it doesn't seem that appealing to me, but if a film like Let the Right One In had been presented this way, I wouldn't have cared to see it. I would have been wrong about that film, so this one could be better than I expect.
