Synopsis:

A young orphan girl leaves home to make a living for herself in Saigon where she befriends two other strangers, a flight attendant and a zookeeper.

Review:

Taken directly from the film, the poster doesn't really capture the film's purpose, though the melancholy look on the girl's face does fit a little.

• Trailer: B-

Review:

A bit slow, the trailer seems to want to tell an interesting story of human perseverance in the search for love and friendship. However, the subtitles will be a huge distraction for most audiences and the lack of astonishing good looks will further hinder the film's performance.

Oscar Prospects:

I could see the film being submitted as a contestant for the Foreign Language Film award, but not as a nominee.
