Preview: Pandorum (2009)

Synopsis:

A man with no memory of his past awakes in the future where he appears to be alone on a strange space station where he is stalked by strange creatures that may just be in his head.

Review:

The purpose of this concept doesn't immediately jump to the mind. It reminds me far too much of the poster for Crank 2 than anything. Yes, it is somewhat sci-fi/horror appearing, it's about as enticing as a wet noodle on a hot afternoon.

Review:

The concept is interesting, though the execution is similar to any number of other creatures-stalking-people sci-fi action flicks out there such as Event Horizon, Jason X, or even the Alien series.

My initial impressions have not changed much, but this does make it look at least a little more tense and a little more interesting in terms of "solving" the puzzle that acts as the film's backbone.
