An astronaut lands on a mysterious planet with a bunch of aliens that lead American-like lives of solitude.
Although not much in terms of artistic design, the general content of the poster is certainly enough to bring auds to the theater.
Mildly amusing, but entirely devoid of style. This is one of those animated films that will be great for children, but will feel like a chore for most adults. Pixar it ain't.
Now that we've seen a little more of the film in this second trailer, it's easy to tell what the film's about and although it seems a lot more interesting, it's still a fairly paint-by-numbers kind of animated feature akin to Meet the Robinsons or Robots. Hopefully, it's more like the former than it is similar to the latter.
Depending on the quality of the 2009 animated features, it could contend, but I doubt it.
I have not seen this film.
