An Italian father greaves the loss of his wife and the mother of his child as he gives up on the rest of life to sit outside his daughter's school house every day.
Not very exciting, but entirely fitting to the film's plot.
There's a tortured sorrow in some frames of the trailer while others seem to be less astute. Nevertheless, it's possible the film will be more thought-provoking than even the trailer can suggest.
I doubt it will survive the six months between its release and the Oscars unless critics push it at the end of the year with their prizes.
I have not seen this film.
