Preview: Red Mist (2009)

Synopsis:

A geeky young man is made fun of in a bar when he hits on a beautiful and popular girl. He's tricked into taking a drug that puts him into a coma. From the coma, he begins an out of body excursion to settle the score with those who not only made fun of him but also who left him for dead on the street.

Review:

I can't see what the poster (nor the title, really) have to do with the plot displayed in the trailer. One image, an all-too-bloody image, does not sell the film very well.

Review:

While the constant remakes of horror films might be a sign that the genre is running out of ideas, even the original concepts are a bit lame in execution, at least that's how I feel watching this trailer. However, there is enough originality there to make it at least worth watching, if only on DVD.
