In a world where people control mechanical automotons from the safety of their own homes and experience every sensation the Surrogate does, things become dangerous when several people die from feedback filtered back through their murdered Surrogate, leading a key player in the Surrogate industry to try and seek the culprit.

What a fascinating little concept. Although there are traces from many other machines-gone-murderous sci-fi films of the past, this one seems a bit fresher and more interesting molding the human desire for excitement with its basic fear of death. I don't know if the film will actually end up being any good, but this trailer certainly intrigues me.
Expanding the trailer only exposes the film's potential weaknesses. There's still to much that could give away the plot, but those who are fans of the graphic novel certainly won't care and with Bruce Willis in the lead, it might actually do fairly well.
Depending on how it succeeds at the box office and with critics, we could see several tech nods and maybe even a screenwriting nomination...but only if it's Blade Runner/A.I. quality.
I have not seen this film.
