Documentary footage of Michael Jackson's rehearsals for his big comeback tour that would never materialize.
An interesting collage of images within a silhouette of Michael Jackson. The lettering is a bit vacuous, but the concept is solid.
Perhaps it's a bit soon for such a film. While I'm all for preserving the memory of Michael Jackson, it seems like this documentary comes to quickly on the heels of his passing. That it's only showing for two weeks is a nice stunt, but many who don't want to be reminded so soon of what the world has lost won't have the proper opportunity to catch it and it may result in a mixture of emotions the filmmakers aren't necessarily expecting.
The Academy isn't in the habit of recognizing this type of documentary.
I have not seen this film.
