A young mother returns home to try to reconnect with her son when she finds out that her ex-husband is dying.

Review:

The split images are a distracting design element that gets overused all too frequently. However, there is a good point to it all, it makes us appreciate the creatively-designed posters all the more.

Review:

Michelle Monaghan looks like she has the potential to be excellent in this film. The story is a bit of a re-hash, but Monaghan may well keep the monotony at bay.

Oscar Prospects:

This film looks a lot like the awards season contender last year that was Wendy & Lucy, which resulted in another Michelle (Williams) not earning a nomination despite many accolades. The same trajectory may well be in place for this film.
