Preview: Up in the Air (2009)

Synopsis:

A professional employee terminator flies cross country spending very little time at home and on the way finds love.

Review:

Three lonely individuals, each engrossed differently in display in silhouette. It's not exactly the most original design and leaves a great deal of the film's premise to the imagination, giving a potentially incorrect interpretation.

• Trailer: C+; B+

Review:

The teaser is simply a long-winded soliloquy with images from the film over it. The words are interesting enough, but the teaser is beyond boring.

Much more in line with what I would expect. Clooney looks quite good and the story seems far more interesting than what I've seen of it before.

Oscar Prospects:

With George Clooney and Jason Reitman involved, this could very well be a big contender. It's already gotten strong critical support at festival, which could mean great things. Picture, Director, Actor and Screenplay are strong possibilities.
