A documentary of the career of Julius Shulman, the legendary photographer who re-defined the art of architecture photography.
Using the image that is evoked most frequently in the trailer works suitably well and captures easily Shulman's talent as a photographer and artist.
I've always been fascinated with architecture, even if most of what's around me isn't that great, but the documentary looks interesting from a photography stand point as well, exploring how someone captures iconic images. Looks like a must-see for architecture lovers, photography enthusiasts and art cinephiles.
Such a crowded field and the film seems to lack controversy, so it will probably be overlooked.
I have not seen this film.
