This documentary details a trip Walt Disney made to South America at the beginning of World War II to bolster support for the United States, while taking with him images that would one day make an impact on his films.

The style of the poster, matching what was being used to advertise Disney's movies during the period, captures the essence of that era fairly well.

Review:

There have been many documentaries about Walt Disney in the past, but this one looks a bit too white-washed for its own good. That it's been produced by Walt Disney's family themselves, it is very unlikely to provide the crucial objectivity necessary for a good documentary.

Oscar Prospects:

While Disney was a beloved figure in the documentary and short film awards the Academy gave out, I don't know that this film will pique their interests, though it is possible.
