A documentary about retired men and women who make homecoming celebrations at airports to welcome home returning troops.
While not terribly complicated, it is a simple poster that does give you a small idea what the film is about, at least enough to know whether it's the kind of film you would see or not.
By the time the closing scene of the trailer comes up, I'm convinced this is just a small film about people celebrating the work of soldiers returning. However, in that last moment, the documentary takes an a wholly new direction, suggesting a more complex film about selfless dedication. I'm torn on which I would rather see.
If there were more war veterans in the Academy's documentary branches, we might see this film get a nomination, but I'm doubtful it will.
I have not seen this film.
