Review:

Gimmick is not only the first word I'd use to describe this film and its purpose, but it's the ONLY word. Although I was watching the trailer in 2-D, there's no question where the gimmicky shots are placed to push those images right out to the audience. Sure, it might be interesting to see, but it wouldn't be worth my money.

Oscar Prospects:

It's a style of documentary, but one which the Academy is very unlikely to honor. They tend to avoid gimmicks as best they can.
