The early life of the future British Queen Victoria chronicling her romantic entanglements leading up to her coronation.
It's quite a bit simplistic, and might be overly so, but it flows well, selects a solid palette of colors and feels royal while intimate.
The poster isn't a great representation of the film. Yes, it's about the love affair, but the point of positioning the castle between the lovers suggests that it comes between them, but while figuratively that might be semi-accurate, it's still not entirely apt.
There isn't a lot of importance in this trailer. It feels somewhat generic, filled with multitudes of fancy costumes and beautiful locations, but sometimes feels hollow.
Costume Design and Art Direction are fairly certain bets. Emily Blunt could emerge from an under-crowded Best Actress field, but that may very well be it for this film.
Quite a bit dry, even for a historical drama.
