Facing financial aid debt, a student enters himself in a beat competition in hopes of winning the prize money that will pay off his debt.
I don't know that the artist wanted to make this seem like a movie about villainy, but that's what the poster ends up suggesting, even though it is done quite well.
For being a film about hip hop and beat battles, the music choice seems unusually impotent. The acting presented in the trailer doesn't give one hope of a good film, nor does the utterly unoriginal.
