This documentary tells the stories of three coastal regions, islands (or series of islands), that are being affected by the rise in water levels due to climate change.
Having three split images with title/festival notices between fits the concept as we see the three terrains the film follows. However, the choice of colors and images are too similar and not divergent enough to be visually stimulating.
Sometimes the proof is in the documentation. So many climate change denialists have tried to find any reason to explain away the concept behind the dilemma of climate change. Although these skeptics are very unlikely to check this film out in any way, shape or form, it remains a vital subject that deserves exploration and might help document in a real and perceptable way the realities of climate change.
Depending on its support amongst critics, this could easily be one of this year's Documentary Feature nominees.
I have not seen this film.
