A documentary about the participants in the brutal exploitation sport of roller derby.
It's a little too bland for a poster, though as a documentary it fits.
Drew Barrymore may have been on to something when she cast her film Whip It about camaraderie in modern roller derby. This documentary takes it a step further and talks to actual participants in the sport. Yet, it's still astounding that all of this empowerment came out of a passion that was designed as an exploitative sport.
None.
I have not seen this film.
