In this sequel to the box office surprise hit Cats & Dogs, the talking canines and felines are back again, but this time working together to thwart the dastardly Kitty Galore, intent on destroying the world.
There are levels of dumb in this poster that couldn't possibly have been intentional. It's not clever, it's not well designed, it's not colorful, it's rather ludicrous.
Everything that could possibly have been a good idea was no doubt used up in the first film and if they had to cut jokes out of the first, they have probably resurfaced in the second. The trailer almost invariably supports this thought, providing several lame attempts at humor while displaying some very poor visual effects.
If a trailer could make a film look anymore idiotic and pointless than the first trailer for this film, I guess it had to come from the second trailer. I mean come on, this is a kids movie...how many of them are going to get a Hannibal Lecter reference? The reference isn't even that funny.
None.
I have not seen this film.
