Hoping for a world free of nuclear weapons, this documentary talks with many experts and world leaders as it tries to expose the dangerousness of nuclear proliferation and the need to curtail and cut off supplies and eventually destroy all that remains of the Cold War nuclear stockpiles as well as those of militant dictatorships that are trying to acquire them.
It's a fairly simplistic poster, but effective nonetheless.
I don't think there's a person in the civilized world that wouldn't agree with the need to stop nuclear proliferation, but will this rallying point of a documentary be helpful in encouraging an open dialogue and a push towards elimination or will it simply preach to the converted and serve as a horrific battle cry for war-prone conservatives.
Another early Oscar contender, but one which will very likely fail in the end.
I have not seen this film.
