A middle school student tries to navigate the dangers of school and life by concocting backfiring schemes and logging his events in his "journal".
Not many middle school kids can draw like this. The characters are a bit too expressive and the situation a bit too "clever".
This film feels like an adult's attempt to key in on the gestalt of being a middle schooler. It's overly sassy, filled with lame kid-centric situations and feels like a film the After School Special people might have made were they more snarky.
None.
I have not seen this film.
