A sword-wielding young man seeks an ancient necklace belonging to a young farmtown girl's uncle while fighting off the forces of evil.
This poster is quite beautiful in its simplistic purity. Although the sword is cheesily illuminated, the design of the sky creating a ruddy glow to the poster is entrancing.
Were only the film as beautiful as the poster. Made on a painfully obvious shoestring budget, this film looks like a ratty cousin to the vampire/end-of-world flicks that seem to have become all the rage. Even the awful The Covenant looked better in comparison. And on top of it all, the atrocious choice of music plays poorly with the associated images and action.
Unnecessarily long, it's a marked improvement over the prior trailer, though it still looks like a cheap Gothic horror romance feature with decidedly weak performances and no essence of plot.
