It's one of the most popular musicals of all-time and now the producers are hoping to revive the phenomenon in a special sing-a-long version coming to the multiplex this Summer, but only in select cities and in others if there is enough demand.
Karaoke advertisement at its finest. Trading on an established name trying to bring in an audience. The poster won't appeal to many but the most ardent fans.
This is no Rocky Horror Picture Show, but producers would like it to be. If it's successful enough, they will probably try to position this as the latest audience participation cult cinema. After all, if The Sound of Music can do it, why can't Grease.
