Preview: Happiness Runs (2010)

Synopsis:

Raised in a hippy commune, one teenager tries to break out on his own and live against some of the very tenets his family and associates live by.

Review:

I'm at a bit of a loss with why there is a ferris wheel in the background and what it has to do with the story. And as the trailer shows, the star of the film is the boy on the left, so why is the girl in the foreground? Although it's not displeasing visually, it doesn't make a great deal of sense.

Review:

What pushes me away from trailers like this is when they narrowly paint a group of people suggesting that all those who believed and lived that way are the same. The concept is at least original, but I don't know exactly what it's trying to say.
