Preview: In/Significant Others (2010)

Synopsis:

Documentary filmmakers' camera is witness to a crime and they seek answers while avoiding police inquiry and attempting to solve the crime themselves.

Review:

I don't normally like the split image style posters, especially ones that are done to highlight the cast, but the oblique angles, the colors and the choice to hinge on the eyes, the windows to a lying soul, add strongly to the intriguing nature of this poster.

• Trailer: B+

Review:

It's not exactly an original concept, but it's an interesting one for sure. The film doesn't look your standard, poorly-shot indie feature, so it might be quite involving to watch.

Oscar Prospects:

I can't imagine this film appealing to Oscar voters, but stranger things can happen.
